Charmed Confections: the Sweetest Shop, ever!

Our very first Spotlight Artist featured in the Premiere 2020 issue (available as a free digital download) was none other than LeeAnn Kress of Charmed Confections

From the Fall 2020 issue of Autumn Brilliance

LeeAnn's magical artistry of sweet witches, vampires and monsters, ghoulies and ghosties have captured the Halloween hearts of so many people - including ours. So as you can imagine, having her scrumptiously spooky creations back in the pages of Autumn Brilliance for our Fall 2024 issue gives us such a sugar-rush, we might verily keel over with sheer happiness!

In this upcoming issue, LeeAnn recaps a very sweet memory from her early days as an artist, with a splendid rendition of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas that she made in her unique style, as a tribute to a dear friend.

Sneak peak of this incredibly beautiful doll below!

You can see more photos and read all about LeeAnn's loving tribute later this year in September, when this exciting new issue of the magazine is available!

In the meantime, you can visit the wonderful world of Charmed Confections at the link below.

We remember with LOVE ...

Remembering  Dustin Poche'

From Autumn Brilliance, Fall 2023 issue

He was a deeply beloved and favorite fine artist of our time.

From Autumn Brilliance, Fall 2023 issue

Dustin was a member of the prestigious guild known as NIADA (National Institute of American Doll Artists) and truly one of the most spectacular creators of Halloween-styled characters we've ever seen, especially witches (Editor's note: I am proud to own "Juniper,"one of his original witches, in my personal collection; photo below).

Autumn Brilliance was honored to have had the privilege of showcasing his artistry as our Spotlight Artist in our Fall 2023 issue which, sadly, he never got the chance to see, as he passed away from cancer in February of that year.

From Autumn Brilliance, Fall 2023 issue - both front and back cover devoted to Dustin's art

We will always grieve for this loss but the joy we get from viewing his artistry will last forever!

Thank you for your submissions and interest in our Fall 2024 issue! -

Thank you to all the many incredible Artists who have submitted their art for our Fall 2024 issue - you are fantastic!

Fall 2024 (issue #6) will be published in early September.

As with every previous issue of Autumn Brilliance, this forthcoming issue will bring no shortage of variances of creative genres, which will include artists who excel in textiles, as well as those who wow us with their skills in both paper and polymer clays, plus one VERY special artist whose works of art are comprised of something that our pages have not yet featured before.

We are keeping this a secret for now. You will just have to keep tuning in here to find out.

(And we promise, it will be a most delectable reveal...!)

Please keep in touch here for updates - we have plenty of surprises for you all in the coming months!

Submissions guidelines -

Our window for accepting submissions for the Fall 2024 issue of Autumn Brilliance

closes this Friday, March 1.

We've had so many inquiries on what exactly we look for and the materials we accept, and would like to post this to help answer those questions.

So very many amazing artists have been featured in past issues, and knowing that we'll be featuring many more exciting creators of handmade Halloween delights gives us a big huge happy! It is always exciting to have a new batch of art every year. The feeling is like being a kid in a candy store - so much to choose from and it's all scrumptious beyond description.

Thank you to everyone of you who has shown such love to us over the past five years as this magazine continues to grow in ways we never thought possible.

BRRR!!!

Our t-t-t-teeth have been chattering!

Though we love the cold weather (much preferring it to summer heat), having to dig ourselves out from under nearly a foot of snow that fell in the last 24 hours might be a bit too much.

But, hey, that just means we are one day closer to Halloween

We're content to stay inside, and warm our innards with a hot cup of cider as we view the winter wonderland outside our window.

What are you doing during this frozen time of year?
