Greetings, everyone - Happy 1st of September. You know what the means, right? It means we can begin the Halloween festivities! The entire month of September is a merely a preamble leading up to our favorite holiday of all time.
But right now, we are very happy to present our Fall 2023 issue cover!
As you see, it is indeed a very special issue, a double-cover at that, featuring the art from Dustin Poche' - our Spotlight Featured Artist for this issue. (Front cover is on the left; the back cover, on the right)
We decided to do a special double-cover to honor Dustin, who passed away in February 2023. And to be completely honest, it was a very difficult process choosing covers because of the extensive amount of fantastic art he had put out over the years. How to narrow it down and choose just one? Took us weeks of deciding, creating mock-up covers to mull over. In the end, it was between two gorgeous images: that of the striking Day of the Dead lady, or the eccentric red-haired sorceress - both of whom are absolutely stunning in all their own merits.
So we decided, why not do both?
As always, the magazine will be available in two versions; digital and printed.
Digital available: Monday, September 4.
Printed available on: Friday, September 8.
