Today's Artist Reveal is someone whose talent knows no boundaries. 

Please welcome  

Mandy Palumbo, of October Oddities

 
Mandy is adept at working her magic, creating unique clay/mixed-media assemblage sculptures as well as intricate paintings on canvas. She passionately conjures up a proliferation of dark Halloween virtuosity that her collectors around the world seek to call their own. (We're proud to own several of her marvelous works of art in our personal collection!)

  You can see more of Mandy's awe-inspiring creations in the upcoming Fall 2024 issue of AUTUMN BRILLIANCE magazine, available to order here in September. 

Mandy will also be featured among many other fine Halloween artists at this year's Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween art show in Marshall, Michigan on September 28th, 2024.

Greetings, Halloween fans!

  Our next Artist Reveal is someone who is truly special, whose art is the first of its kind to be featured in the pages of our magazine.   

Please welcome, Corinda Baum, a bonafide Food Network champion and competitor!

Corinda has been featured on Food Network's "Halloween Wars," "Road to Halloween Wars," and "Holiday Wars" where we watched her harness her magic by using cake, chocolate, fondant, modeling chocolate (and a wickedly vivid imagination!) to sculpt and craft astonishing Halloween creations that looked more like they were made from clay or plaster, not cake! Take a look at the amazing Krampus cake you see here as evidence of her culinary talents. We would love to sink our fangs into that!

 
Needless to say, we are thrilled to present Corinda's mouthwatering monsters and creepy cakes in the Fall 2024 issue of AUTUMN BRILLIANCE magazine.

Please welcome, Lurena Williamson of Tattered Moon

 

Rich, rare textiles are worked into a spell of pure magic at the hands of Lurena Williamson. Her world of velvets, brocades, silks and lace are combined to bring forth unique characters that deserve to be upon a special nook or shelf, to be admired by one and all who gaze adoringly upon them.

Lurena is a fixture at the Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween art show each September in Marshall, Michigan, where her exquisite creations are highly sought after - and we can see why.

It's time to reveal our Artists for Fall 2024! -

 It's post July 4th, and you know what that means... we'll begin revealing the list of the fabulous artists in our Fall 2024 issue each week up to the magazine's publish date (September 2024) 🎃

* We are so excited about this issue, too, having had a record amount of submissions not just in the USA, but from artists across the globe including Italy and Kazakhstan!

 
* Our first esteemed artist hails from New York state. Her paintings and sculptures are simply out of this world. I fell in love with her creations the moment I set eyes on them.

It's always Halloween in Sleepy Hollow! -

We have a little teaser for you!

In the Fall 2024 issue of AUTUMN BRILLIANCE, we will be featuring coverage of the Tarrytown (Sleepy Hollow) Halloween Parade, with highlights from the 2023 event.

If you've never been to Sleepy Hollow during this time of year... what are you waiting for? 

This fantastic old colonial American town is positively rich in sights and history (the story of the Headless Horseman by author Washington Irving often being the first thing that comes to everybody's mind). And it goes without saying, this beautiful New England town is just stunning in the autumn, with colorful fall foliage of all the trees enhancing the classic architecture with every rich, burnished shade imaginable. 

Sleepy Hollow truly is a magical Halloween town: everywhere, you will see Halloween decor. On street corners, in front of restaurants and business, along the pathways in neighborhoods, just everywhere you look. This town really knows how to embrace and showcase the Halloween spirit, which culminates with the marvelous annual Halloween Parade. People come from around the world to watch and participate, and it never disappoints.

Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow should be on your Halloween bucket list. Trust us when we say that - we've been there and found it hard to leave!
